WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today congratulated Georgia attorney James Randolph “Randy” Evans, of Atlanta, on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate as the U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg:

“I am delighted that Randy Evans has been confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg,” said Isakson. “Randy is a distinguished attorney, and he is exactly the person we need to have in a place of such strategic importance to the United States.”

Isakson introduced Evans before his confirmation hearing in the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in November 2017. The committee approved Evans’s nomination on Jan. 18, 2018.
