The Sunscreen Innovation Act, co-authored by U.S. Senators Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., and Jack Reed, D-R.I., was approved by the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions today in a unanimous voice vote, advancing the measure to the full Senate for consideration.  The legislation seeks to address a regulatory backlog that is preventing U.S. consumers from having access to the innovative sunscreens that are widely available in the rest of the world.

U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today called on his colleagues in the Senate to quickly approve a measure which will authorize the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project (SHEP) at an increased funding level of $706 Million.
